Strawberry Hill Library was photographed at Strawberry Hill House June 2019. Strawberry Hill House is Britain's finest example of Georgian Gothic Revival architecture on the banks of the Thames in Twickenham, a suburban town in southwest London. It was formerly the summer residence of Horace Walpole, an 18th-century writer and art historian who was the son of Britain's first prime minister, Sir Robert Walpole. Largely designed by Walpoles' circle of friends, known as the 'Committee of Taste', he allowed four visitors a day, with tours conducted by his housekeeper.
